mpc 1000 issue

i posted a thread for help a couple weeks back and i got views on the thread but no comment or help!

can some 1 please help me!!

on my mpc 1000. i record a sample and chop it, i will play with it.. make sure it works fine and save the chopped sample.. but when i restart the mpc and try 2 reload the chops to pads it works,,, but every chop is a different speed and a different tone,, every fricking time...

am i doing sumthing wrong? or did the owner who i bought it from mess with the settings? im really confused.. and i cant get anything done because of this..

he had 1 sample he chopped up in it and when i went 2 play it his sample did the same thing... idk whats up.. can u please help.. even if its a noob question or an easy fix.. please help me out!!!

im get the newest jjos soon. but i just need this fixed 4 now..

I think you can tie the pitch of the sample to the velocity of the pad. Try hitting the [Full Level] button, this will lock your pads of full velocity, is the pitch tone consistent now?
