hi i'm a new mpc 1000 owner, so please don't be so harsh, i didnt found an answer to my problem in the forum and if there is already a thread solving it - sorry.. my bad. my english is not the best but i hope i can describe my problem properly. normaly i do not have any problems in getting started with such stuff since there are thousands of tutorials and vids. but recently i got the sample collection bass legends, converted the samples and load them with my mpc. follwing problem: most of the samples (basic notes: a bass sound playing a 'c' or a 'g' or whatever) just sound way too long, one can hear the sample/note far too long, so if i play a few samples/notes after another the sounds are "overlapping". so even when u want to make an easy bass groove .. it turns out to be just crap. do i have to shorten all those samples or is there an mpc function that could solve that problem: for example that the sample only plays as long as i hit the pad. any other tips? does anyone have experience with spectrasonics bass legends?
