midi connector won't let my cable go :s

Hey,

midi connector:

I put a midi cable into it, it was rather hard to put it in but it worked, now i want to remove the cable but it won't come out...
Got the same when I use other midicables into the mpc1000...

somebody ? experiences ?

just pull it and at the same time try to bend it a little bit to the sides. In other words: pull it and try to make small circles while you pull. It will slowly start to come out. And don't wory the connector is mounted from the inside, so you will not break any thing inside the MPC.

Next time, put some butter on the connector before you plug it in or buy another cable.
