Unwanted echo on samples!!!!!

I hear an echo of the sample when I hit a pad. There are no FX on the pads or the mixer section. I have increased the decay time to 100 on these pads to get rid of unwanted cutoff at the end of some drum samples. When I decrease it to 0 the echo stops. Driving me ****ing nuts!!!!!!! HELP PLEASE!!!!!

try setting the release to 0.

i havethe same prob, (jjos2) when loop (in trim) is on., when off, echo disappears.
