MIDI Problem: Syncing MPC to Reason.

I got my mpc synced to the reason but when i try to record the sound just comes from reason and if i hit a pad i hear the instrument from reason (like a controller ? ).

So when i record i only get the midi information in as i looked at in step edit.

If this doesnt make sense should i post my ins and outs of the setup.

Please post ur hook ups and how u want it to work together.
What is ur sequencer, and which one of the two (reason or mpc) is ur sampler/soundmodule

Alright im trying to make reason my sound module and the mpc my sequencer, this is my midi set up:

MIDI OUT OF M-AUDIO KEYBOARD > MIDI IN OF MPC1000

MIDI OUT OF MPC 1000 > MIDI IN OF E-MU 0404 INTERFACE

USB OF E-MU 0404 > REASON 4

Ur hardware connections are good.
