mpc to mac problem

I have a problem that when i connect my mpc to my mac im not seeing the mpc icon on my computer screen. I never used 2 have that problem before, I wonder if anyone can help me out on this. thanks.

are you remembering to put your mpc in usb mode? you gotta MOUNT it first...

or maybe you don't have a flash card in there?

yeah i did that and theres a flash card in there...idk my mpc had fell the other day im not sure if thats the reason why its doing that, and on top when i connect it to the computer the status says its connected, but im just not seeing the icon on the computer screen.

try rebooting the computer maybe? sometimes after i've mounted and ejected the mpc once already, i can't get it to show up again unless i reboot.

Na man, this happens with a bunch of MPC's and macs. Shut down the Mac and start over.

With the MPC on make sure its already set to USB.
Then start the mac
Give it a few....itll find it. For some reason my 1k took FOREVER to connect to my mac mini when I first got it.

danmm i restarted the Mac and left the mpc connected to it and still nothing....i wonder if i should leave it connected 2 da mac for a good min r something

yea just be patient with it homie. Ive read a few threads on this including when it happened to me.

That is very common. I definitely know what you guys are talking about. Happens with my 2500 periodically also.
