new to the forum need help

Wat up fam im new to this forum just wanted to say what up and i need ur guys help. ive been looking to add an mpc 1000 to my studio but ive heard a lot about the **** up pads on the older 1000s. i have a guy whos gonna sell me one for 400. its the blue model (supposedly the blue ones are more likely to have the old pads), but it has the upgraded 128mb ram, so basically what i asking is if i get the pad fix upgrade for it will it be straight? get at me

My understanding of it is that the $180 pad upgrade will put the classic MPC pads in and yes solve the problem.
