how do you clear off everything on your mpc to load your hit

just woundering how do you clear your internial memory to load just what you
want because i never have enough room when i try loading hits and things

You can not clear the internal memory but you can load your own programs&samples or sequences&songs into the internal memory which will replace the default ones from the factory. This has a 5 meg limit. You probably already know this too but make sure your autoload directory doesn't still have the presets in it either or they will get loaded into Ram at startup.

There's a way to turn off the autoload so that it doesn't load the presets into the ram... check your manual homie.

All you got to do is make sure that there is nothing in the autoload folder and nothin will load. You can even just delete the folder.

If your already booted up, and changing songs, do this:

get the system into a blank state (ie-right after boot up with nothing loaded). Do a "Save All". That will create a file with nothing in it, but the MPC doesn't know that. Then, whenever you want to dump everything from memory, just load that file, and you'll have all the space in the world for your new samples to load.
