Foot Switch Inputs

Hey,

i am aware that you can plug a sustain pedal into either footswitch input but does anyone know if you can plugin a drum pad from an electric drumset so you can play samples with sticks.

You need to modify the signal from a drumpad if you want to use it. A drumpad sends a small current, and the inputs on the mpc needs a switch. It is doable, but you need to make a npn transistor gate. Perhaps you can use the 4016 ic, it's a quad gate.
