screen just went dim..

I was tring to restore my mpc back to its original OS and then all of a sudden, the screen dimmed.. Does anyone have any idea what thats all about?

why?

jjos and akai os seem to have different screen contrast defaults, i know that when you install jjos you may need to adjust your contrast settings - i expect it also works the other way when reinstalling akai os.
change your contrast settings.
