New member wanting samples

Just bought a used MPC1000 from Guitar Center with a compact card, I think 32MB. I'm an old school producer and wanted to know the best place to buy samples on-line. I have all the real instruments but wanted to update my sound.

Also I have several DVD's with all types of instruments, Motif, Fantom, ect. If I get a card reader I should be able to save to a card and read it in the MPC? Need a little help to get started.

You can actually plug a USB cable from your computer to your MPC, transfer files to your CF card that way.

What kinds of samples are you looking for?

definition: doesn't use anything after the 3000. tracks all beats on reel to reel. gets loops and samples from vinyl.

Close on the definition, when I say old school I mean I started before drum machines and Cakewalk 1st came out. Yeah I'm old. I play real drums, guitar, bass, keys on my tracks to an Alexis HD24 hard disk through a 48 channel board. All Analog. I do production and for my hip hop guys its easier and cheaper for them for me to use samples with Pro Tools or Cubase. So I got to up my game. On the beats I'm just looking for some nice drums and synth sounds.

As far as the USB connection from my Mac with samples, will the Mac serve like a compact card or can I save the sounds from the Mac to a card? I know I need to read the manual.
