protools mbox mpc1000 sync question

ok i need some advice on what to get, i have a mpc1000 and i wanna get protools.. either the mbox 2 or mbox 2pro. i have a mixer eurorack ubb1002 that i use with my mpc, i also have a motif rack es and a mophatt and a proteus 1 which are all hooked up to the eurorack and then ran to the mpc. NOW can i still hook up all my stuff with any of those 2 mbox units? and if so how would i hook it up from the MIXER too the mpc and so on to the mbox interface? would i end up useing the assignable mixouts 1234 in the back of the mpc? cause pretty much i still wanna use my mixer and just be able to sync my mpc with protools. so i can start tracking out my seperate tracks..and also just cause its time to upgrade to protools ive been useing nuendo for too long.

At home I have the mbox 2. It works just fine since I 2 track most of my stuff. You can get the pro if you need the additional ins. As far as the mixer is concerned does it have an alternate set of outs? Some mixers have alt, some have 1&2 or something to that effect. Basically you would have to have one set of your outputs dedicated to the speakers and the other out as a way to route into pro tools.

Bottom line, you are not that far off from accomplishing what you are looking for. The choice boils down to whether or not you want those extra ins on the Mbox

the mixer has 8 tracks on each seperate track it has a "line in" jack and an intsrument jack out of the 8 tracks. if im confuseing you sorry, i put the link of the mixer on here...on the first post, check it out..yea cause im just pretty much lost on if i would be useing thought "assinablemix 1234" on the back of the mpc cause irght now i dont use them at all...

i also went on youtube and looked at some videos.. and check this out telll me what u think cause this guys has his "assinablemix" comeing from his mpc to his mixer then goin to prootols i think...
