free skin [if you're in the UK]

ok, so firstly - Ive been one of those weirdo-peeping-tom-type-lurkers for a year or so since I got my 1k, so now I feel like Im bangin on the front door. uh... HI!

anyways, Ive got the blue 1k. I only just go round to changing the pads, and I wanted the black ones but then I thought they would be too dark against the body.

I looked at the skins on mpc stuff and style flip but I wanted a full wrap in cream so I did a design, and got the company I work for to make it.

Now I want to start selling some designs on ebay for around 30quid - as all us mpc heads in Europe get stung a few times over when importing.

But the issue is - I know the mpc's were mass produced but I spent 12hrs+ on the design just this last week - changing measurements by like 0.1mm. and Im thinking there might be tiny variations when it comes to other units.

None of my friends have mpc's [I live in the west country, a lot of people would probably refer to an MPC as a 'evil magic sound box'] so I want to send one to someone to see how well it fits.

Im not gonna charge you, although if it fits and you like it - you can tell everyone. If it doesn't fit - we'll just keep that quiet till it's sorted

so yeah, like in the title - if you're from the UK and you want a skin [whatever colours] give me a PM. Im only gonna send one out as I dont have loadsa money - though I haven't figured out a fair way to pick if there's more than one person that replies yet...

ps - Im off to fit my new pads after putting a little silicone underneath, as I didn't like the gap. As long as it's dry, I'll re-assemble and post a photo.

I followed nyms' idea of using silicone, though I used multi purpose silicone sealer. These pads are perfect now.

And Im waiting on a real black data wheel, so this one's just painted.

well I should have thought of the fairness thing beforehand - but I was thinking I might only get one reply and it'd be simple.

The two options I can think of currently are either;

1. best looking colours [I can do a chrome effect and just clear w/info btw]

- this is more fun, but then if someone posted a cool scheme - I wouldn't be able to sell it later without having stolen the idea.


2. a heads-or-tails mini tournament.

- But nobody can see me sat here flippin.
