mpc1000 faceplate template

Does anyone have an mpc1000 faceplate template? I want to get mine repainted/sceen printed but they are requesting a template or $300 to make one... I can't afford all that, I know it seems redicuous but I bought mine second hand and the douchebag who had it tagged all over it...

at styleflip you design your face with pics/text/info knob layer then order a 3m vinyl adhesive overlay for 58 bucks shipped or save to cart then click it and save a hi res jpeg of your design and then you have your template
I painted my own side panels red anf the front panel red/white freckled

Right on, I've been looking into the skins but I'm hesitant because its vinyl or something similar right? How is your's holding up? How long have you had it?

I just ordered mine but this dj on youtube did a video putting one on a dj mixer and the video was a year old, I asked him how it has held up the past year and hwe messaged me back and said so far no peeling or color loss so I figured 58 bucks Il'l give it a shot


but you can atleast do ya design the save to cart, click the image it enlarges then you can save a big ass hi res template like pic of ya design for free then give that to your painter/graphics person to work off of

300 bucks for just a template seems high as it is almost half the cost of a full custom job from forat that does the celebs mpc's

Right on, yeah the $300 is just the work necessary to measure everything out....the paint job will cost me $30 Thought it'd be cool to have custom paint, and I notice that around your screen and sliders you still have the blue I know theres gotta be a accurate template out there I just gotta find it.

yeah the styleflip goes around the screen and sliders though a black screen outline is sold online. I could paint the slider area and might before putting the skin on i guess
300 just seems steep for just measuring out a small mpc 1000 for a job that costs 30 bucks

I guess i would have just rather had somebody body say 300 bucks to do the whole custom job and not even mention that only 30 was for paint ya know

i mean for 300 bucks you can get a cheap paintjob on a whole car, maybe get a graphics student to do it for their portfolio or something for less

but yeah custom paint will be a good look

I painted the side panels and front panels myself using spray paint with built in primer

but custom paintjob would be hot... a different screen, pads buttons can be got from mpcstuff.com too

yeah, well I know I could have come up with a doper design but I went with what would motivate me most when working on the mpc like looking at hot chicks/fans would get a guy over any creative hump and is unique I guess




yeah, students should want to do stuff for the experience, and resume and design portfolio
