ok, how do you all go about loading and saving if your using multiple programs??
when I make a beat I usually use sounds, samples from maybe 10-15 different programs, I use so many because when I make a beat (only if I have a full day) I will usually use about 30 or 40 tracks and then juggle EVERYTHING around until I'm happy with the beat, anyway, my question is, do you all make a new program (I always name it the same as my beat) and place every sound you use in your beat into that program, then create a new folder and save your sequences, songs an programs all in the one same folder (which I usually call name of beat setup) eg, shitbeatsetup.
Am I doing this a crazy long way?? I've been doing i for so long now that I have it in my head that it's the most effecient but I was wondering if anyway had any tips.
I also always make a copy of each sound that I have used so I can leave the original in it's original program then I name the copy something again corresponding to my beat eg shitbeatkick.
the only reason I do this is because the one time I didn't make the copy an name it something else all my sequences ended up messed up.
also is it necessary to save all my sequences as well as song, I think I also remember when I didn't save the sequences that I used to create my song things went wrong, it rhymes it's not a crime, I'm hungry I might eat a dime...bar, car, far, bar, beer, near sirel sneer.
