software?

i am really starting to make progress in my beats all i need now is a way to finally clean up my samples and filter them right cause all im working with now is strictly a mpc 1000(by itslef no computer link up ) and a portable turntable. it would also help if you could tell me what kind of usb cable i need to hook it up to my computer

You'd probably be better off getting yourself a USB Compact Flash reader instead...they're really cheap these days too, probably not much more than a USB cable!
