What external hardware (cheap hopefully) can anyone recommebd to record into and out of DAW on a laptop? I plugged my akai into my mic input on my laptop (lol) and get electronic hum/buzz I'm assuming its just because of the low quality port (hopefully)!!! Any quick cheap solutions?

Is it an Akai mic? No, then why is it there?
