Hello, I am a new mpc1000 user and I really didn't want 2 start this thread. I understand that most newbie questions have been answered hundreds of times and piss off the vets, however this is really bugging me.
After a few days of fooling around on here I have learned some basics, how to program the pads and understanding sequencing and tracks. The previous user has used sequences randomly and I think it would be alot easier learning on this with nothing on it at all. My problem is this, when i try to delete the previous users crapola, it deletes, but when i turn off my mpc and turn it back on all his stuff is still there.
I highlight "01-Sequence01"
I click window
A screen comes up and has a delete, user, close, and copy option.
I hit delete (F2)
It makes sure I want to delete it, i click "DO IT"
It now says "Sq:01-(unused)" Okay, good.
I turn off my MPC, Turn it back on and now it reads " Sq:01-Sewquence01 and its on track 5
Anyone know how to solve issues like this? Im sure this is only the start.
