how to fix buttons

Merry Xmas yall!

Some of the buttons on my mpc 1000 is getting really bad, i have to press really hard for them to work.
Me question is; how do i fix this?

It is the Shift button an det arrow down button..

Also.. what do you guys use the sliders for? Except from when you trim a sample?

Buy some electrical cleaner in the spray can. Take the lid off the mpc and spray the cleaner into the tact switches under the buttons you have problems with to clean the dirt out. It shouldn't take more than a few blasts. Make sure the area is dry before you power back on.

thanks for the help guys, i opened my mpc and found out that the problem is on the secret board.. the actuall button ON the secret board is defect.. =/
