yea wuts gud ppl im not a noob so dont call me dat but n e ways i chopped up my samples on my mpc n i go ahead n plug em in on a new program i lay it down on mono so the samples dont overlap eachother but then when i try to lay my drums down they cut off my samples so i switch back to ploy but now the samples r overlapping so im thinkin if i should make a diffrent program for my drums. :!:

You can make another program for your drums, which is what I do when I am tracking out beats, or if you want to play you need to utilize the Mute Groups function. What you can do is assign all of your samples to Group 1 (or whatever group you want) and when you play them they will cut each other off, but the drums can not be assigned to a group at all or too a different group like Group 2 and they will only cut each other off and not the samples then.

See if you can find some material on Mute Groups. They are very helpful. They also work real well when dealing with lots of different hi hat samples and things like that. :D
