MPC 1000 JJOS 3.09 Problems

I just bought a new mpc 1000 and im having a problem. I looked all over online and cant find ianything. I downloaded the free jjos 3.09 and im not sure which one i had on my old mpc but 3.09 is acting funny for whatever reason. I was wondering if you ever heard of this and what I could do..(eventually in going to buy the paid version)
But until then...

1) For whatever reason the sequencer clips meaning that if i make one sequence(loop1) and i want to join it with another(loop2) it just abruptly plays the new and doesnt let the first one finish playing out. Make sense?

2) Also when i load a wav it doesnt give me the option to load it to a pad it just dumps it on my internal memory

Im sure its just the version 3.09
I cant find any other downloads

Any help would greatly be appreciated

Answer to 2): Press window in the load screen. Then turn on 'Sample assign to pad Window'.

Hey guys not trying to jack this thread but its about jjos 3.09 which I downloaded yesterday. I haven't got round to installing it as im injured at the moment with my arm in a sling (poor me but you should see the other 5 people......they wont be selling any cookies at doors for a while i tell you lol)

the zoom in and out function and the fact that it seems to be easier to chop samples etc sold me but do you have to re adjust pad sensitivity etc? and also will the beats ive done already using the latest akai software be affected?

Also on the JJ sight it says version 3.08 is free then under it is version 3.09 I take it this is also free as Ive downloaded it and there was no mention of a password???

You can change this... It's just a setting... With the Akai OS if you had a sequence playing and you went to another sequence it waits until the first one is done and then changes. With the free JJOS you have the ability to choose between having it that way, or having it switch instantly like you described. I find both ways useful for various things. I can't remember offhand what screen it's on, but you can easily make this change... I think maybe if you highlight the sequence name, then hit window you have the option to change this setting...
