MPC playing same patch on each track from keyboard.

I have my mpc as the main sequencer. When i play sounds from my keyboard it records it in a sequence...cool right?. But, when I create another track and want to record a different sound from my keyboard. When I moved to another patch on my keyboard, the mpc is playing the patch i moved to. Can someone please tell me how to change sounds without the mpc playing the sound I move to. Such as guitar,piano,strings instead of piano,piano,piano. Thank you

What keyboard is it? If it isn't multitimbral you can forget it.

You can always sample your track from your keyboard before you move on to the next one.

Roland Rs-50 and yes it is multitimbral
