Mpc 1k trimming sample

anyone else find it difficult to trim a sample like to chop differents sounds from it so i can rearrange the sample and have it choped any can help me out should i use some software program or is there a better war to do it on the mpc ?

really ill try using it the one thing i had trouble is using the dial to find the center
even withtthe numeric entries how whould i know what number to press to get to a point i want anyone got some info the manual isn't much help

This is one of the gripes people have with the MPC1000 - no onboard chop-and-assign system as on other models. I've done a bit of that using an old copy of Steinberg Recycle, someone else may be able to suggest a separate tool for the job...

IVE USED ACID 4.0, ONLY WITH CDs THOUGH TO MUNIPULATE A SAMPLE.

Propellerhead makes Recycle, not Steinberg.

i got the answer for you boiiiii!
if these guys dunno =) it's not hard at all, i find it easy. when you are in the trimming mode, go to the starting point, i mean where are the numbers, then press shift the arrow buttons under the datawheel, at same time, you can move in the numbers. when you do that, you can select how much do the on datawheel moving be on that sample. nah'mean? try and tell me does it work!

if you have on sample, just go to edit mode in trimming mode, select extract and you have 2 of that sample, do that as many times u want.

i asked this same question once and no-one could help me with that, then i found out that.
