An inexpensive alternative to styleflip UPDATE PICS!!!

I am a graphic designer and I have created a template for the MPC 10000.

At my shop I can do digital prints on adhesive backed vinyl and cad-cut the holes for all the buttons. You can use any picture or logo you want for the background, you can even use multiple different fonts of your choosing for the skin and I can provide them to you for a cost of $25.00

I could make these for just about any peice of equipment I have acess to, I have 2000 classic, and 2000 xl so I'll do those next.

its cool but the text looks a little over sized. Also you're missing a lot of info on the pads like the letters, numbers ect. but overall its a good idea.

this is my template in it's early stages, The hardest part was getting all the contour cut lines to match up perfectly (which I have done)
the font size, and style are totally customizable (which makes it like 1,000 times better than styleflip)

I left the letters and numbers off because I no longer use them with the improved naming system of JJOS1, but I will be adding them because I realize some people will want them,

did you notice that the pad mode labels include the grid edit and global program edit for JJOS?

Looks good yo, put it on a machine, show how well it fits and ill probably end up picking one up...

Would like one for the default OS.

and how long is turn around time (time ordered to time recieved)


i ordered a styleflip on nov 26 and did not recieve until earlier this month and paid 58 bucks total

and it only went to just above the window to just below the pads. ( not full coverage of top plate)

Looks really cool! Nice way to stylize the mpc!

I put it on my machine last night and it looks dope!, then I started to paint the side panels (which are still drying) so I'll have a pic up after work today (should be dry by then)

I would love to do one for the 2500, but I'll need access to one so I can take measurements to map out all the button holes.

I guess I could go to guitar center to take measurements.

Shipping should cost $5.00 or less to U.S. and turnaround time would be less than one week.

If you design on the stylflip flash designer, save the hi res pic then resize to the gear dimension specs (on manufacturer site) could you then make any design that styleflip can make?

I was happy with my styleflip just not the over a month of time it takes

Hey BG, I can do that design for you right away, and I'd be happy to print enough excess vinyl so you can wrap it all the way around the faceplate if you want. My aim is to provide a service similar to styleflip, but much more highly customizable. so You can specify the font styke, dimensions, etc....


As for the 2500, I think I found a way to do the template, The 2500, 2000, 2000xl and all those bigger-bodied machines will cost $30.00 due to the increase in size and materials needed.
Shiping should be no more than $5.00 to USA and like I said, turnaround time is 1-2 business days + shipping time (3-4 days)

I just talked to my boss and he's on board as well, In fact, any orders that are put in before Feb. 5th (next friday) will be discounted by 20% so.... MPC 1000 = $20.00 + ship.

MPC 2000, 2000XL, 2500 = $24.44 + ship.

only until Feb. 5 2010!!!

attach your background pic, and any fonts you wish to use, and describe the color scheme for lettering etc. to me. I will send you a proof of the finished skin for your approval and once you approve the design I'll send you a paypal invoice. The skin will ship the next day.

I hope you guys like it, I know I gotta redo the paint on the sidepanels, but you get the idea. I had this one end on the edge of the top plate because I wanted the akai logo and my "Jonny Jams" decal to show, but we can make these skins so they wrap all the way around.

That's another thing, You can have stickers like the "Jonny Jams" on the front of my 1000 for cheap!!!
