just trade my 2kxl for a 1k,how can i transfer my programs from 2kxl to 1k and seq,as that possible,i also use mac powerbook

Been there, done that. Took weeks. (of course back then I was much less efficient in my use of tracks / sounds + sequences) but still... Shit takes a while and I've never heard of any good shortcuts. You may want to consider just starting anew. After transferring 4 of my beats from the 2k to the 1k I said F*** It and just started grinding on new material in the 1k. Hate to bare the bad news...

I just had a battle trying to get the old 2k files to open on the 1k. In the end I got my sounds off the disks. The pgm's and my seq files were ****. So no easy way to transfer them. You're probably gonna have to say **** it and either make new pgm's out of the sounds or skip it. If somebody knows how the hell to transfer the files successfully let me know.
