Hey guys, the buttons on the MPC 1000 are so hard and unresponsive to all of you? I just bought an MPC which already had JJ on it... it may be from the JJ?
(I don't mean the pads...but the buttons..)

Are you talking about the tact switch underneath the actual buttons? I don't think the JJOS has anything to do with it.

I have a theory... that may be wrong though.. I believe is because of the JJ OS and because u have to press so many times to finally work... so in order to check that, if u did not already, let me know can I get back to the Akai OS and then back to the JJ ? ...and HOW.
Thanks a lot guys!

SAME PROBLEM WITH MY BUTTONS. WHEN I 1ST GOT THE MP, I WAS USING AKAI OS. NOW I HAVE JJ OS XL. IT SEEMED LIKE THEN I HAD TO PUSH THE SAME BUTTON A LOT TO RESPOND, AND I STILL DO NOW. NOW I HAVE THREE BROKE BUTTONS FROM PUSHING SO HARD. IM THOUGHT IT WAS MY MOTHERBOARD. THERES A VIDEO ON YOU TUBE ON HOW TO FIX THE BUTTONS INSTEAD OF BUYING THE SAME OLD CRAP ONES. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQ5ScgSAK4E

I've wondered this myself, although it never bothered me tremendously. The only trouble I have is with my left "bar" button. I am unaware of how the JJos affects button reactions.
