Problem while adding a synth on a beat

Hi, I'm a French Beatmaker, I hope you'll understand my english.
I'm having a problem with my MPC 1000, I sampled my Synth, it's just a note on an evolutive strings pad, the sample last something like 15 or 20 sec, and i want to play it over my beat on the chorus.
But, when i play it on the MPC while the beat's playing, the synth sample stops after 5-10 sec ( i selected all of it in trim mode ).
I know i can do it on a software but, i don't really enjoy working on it for the moment, Plz someone help me!

Do you have the sample setting as one shot?

Sounds like your Poly or mono gettin maxed out......
