syncing keyboards w/ ur mpc 1000

im trying to sync a keyboard to my mpc 1k. what is the best type to use? and what is a good quality one for a reasonable price? triton/motif r to much money for me rite now. im jus tryin to record piano sounds on my tracks. help please!!!

it's all a matter of what you need and personal preference... i'm not sure what type of budget you're on, but if you're looking for a cheaper version of the triton, i would definitely consider the korg micro-x keyboard.
