Hi my fellow musicians!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was wondering if anyone or is it normal to say have 2 bars where the time sigs vary within a 2 bar or 4 bar loop. I am trying to make those drums move...Take for instance the Song Beautiful girls all over the world my time would be wasted blh blah.. Those drums move to me. I am trying to use more sigs to make drums move.
Things I done are tempo changes within 2 bars - not sure abotu that-- I never can get it to work and feel like the beat is changing directions
Look to me the change of direction in drum programming is the essence of the sound on RNB and hiphop and ofcourse jazz.
Is that what I amhearing or am I just trippin.
