"Sticky arrow key"

Hi people,

I am thinking of buying this MPC1000 second hand. Don't balk at the price, its in New Zealand dollars and will probably sell for about 668.938 USD.

Here's the MPC in question -

Only issue is that the seller says it has "stickiness of arrow key on occasion."

I'm wondering if that happens with every MPC1000 or whether this is something I ought to avoid like the plague?

the questionis not tha arrow key, replacement part is some cents--- but if the mpc has new pad fix!!!
