Screen bleeds through

Hey all, I am new to posting, but I have been reading the vast information pool here for a little while now. Now I got my first MPC last night, supposedly it was brand new, yet there were samples loaded into the bank that they didn't delete as well as a 128 mb memory card installed. The problem is that once in a while the screen will bleed through and I can see what is behind whatever I am working on. Its not a real big deal, but it bothers me that they told me it was new and it definitely isn't. I got it from Guitar Center so I am positive I can deal with them and do the return, or exchange. What is your guy's thoughts on this?

i have no idea what you mean by this... what could be "behind what you're working on"?? the way you worded this makes no sense... if you mean the contrast, that can be adjusted and there at least 100 newbie threads about how to adjust that...

Sorry if I didn't make sense. I mean the screen that I was currently working on will still be able to be seen even though I am on another option... if that makes sense... lol

give me an example of a screen this occurs in... 'cause i still don't get it.

mine did this, it would fade in when i switched to another menu, after about a month it doesnt do it anymore, i just figured it was a new screen "breaking in" so to say.. i dont think you should be worried..

Man jos, thanks for the reply, it seems it hasn't done it at all tonight. Ill keep my hope up!

edit: Well it seems it is back this morning! It isn't something that will completely ruin working on the piece, but man its annoying!
