MPC1000 Basic question

Im workin w/ the mpc 1000 and a korg x50.

I have them set up via midi

I know midi does not transfer audio. so how do i get the track recorded with audio????

connect the audio outputs to the audio inputs of something that can record audio, then record

When I had my 1000 I used to sample my synth instrument back into the MPC. Not sure if it's possible with the Akai OS (I had JJ).

"Audio out" of the synth to the "record in" of the MPC and record to a audio track or sample it.
