How do you guys distinguish from the 2 different black mpc's if you are buying used? I here the first black one still has pad problems like the blue and red one is that true?

don't you have to move the pads around, if they all move you have the new style, if none move those are the old style, some input from our fellow forum members will add on to this!

If you can pop out the corner of a corner pad (like the bottom left corner of pad 1), then you have the new pads.
