Record audio from MIDI

Hi Everyone,

My setup is basically synthesizers and the mpc 1000 (JJOS).
Writing songs I use the mpc like a sequencer (MIDI keyboard IN, and shynths in MIDI OUT)
There are like several synth, so I can use different tracks for different machines.
My question is:
it's much easier to record into those synth lines into the mpc, so I don't have to drag all my equipment to a reherseal to show ideas.
Basically what I'm doing send out the MIDI to the synth and the audio out is going back to the mpc, so I can record it on the fly. (It's pretty owesome) BUT, when I sign the track to audio and start to record, it does the job perfectly, but when the loop is end it stop recording (which is what it suppose to be). When you listen back, there is a slightly gap on the end.
In other words, the recorded sample should be a slighly longer than the loop, so when it goes again there will be no gap.
How can I do that?

Just to clarify, I think what he's suggesting is to make only a BPM (or even a fraction) smaller, so that you can fill the gap, but still have it be at pretty much the right tempo without going out of sync.

The other option would be to record the section double of what you intend to use, and then chop it in half and see if that gives you good results when using the second half.

Then again... the way you are doing it, you'll lose the tail end of any reverb or anything else... might be good to record it plus whatever comes off the end so that you can loop it that way, all depends on what you are trying to do though.

? If I slow down the tempo, I still have the same problem on the end and I cannot put the tempo back because the recorded track gonna be out of sync.

i don't understand. If I have the bpm smaller, the song is gonna be slower, with that how I fill the gap on the end?

So, make the sequence double longer? I thought I might just add an extra of the lenght (instead of eight like nine) and record and after put it back, so the recorded phrase is gonna be bigger than the actual lenght. What do you think?

Exactly! Like i record an arpeggio form a Korg X50, but on the end the delay, etc is chopped of, that's what i'm trying to avoid somehow.
