What Operating System are you using on your Computer?

Are you using a USB Hub or is the MPC directly connected to the Computer?

Are you using the Original Akai Operating System or JJOS?

Are you just physically disconnecting the MPC from the Computer or are you unmounting the removable disc first?

hi DonAudiolabs

windows xp sp3
the mpc is directly connected to the computer
i use the original akai os .12
i remove the mpc from the removable disc first,(the safe mode)

This is odd.

So you say that the MPC freezes up in the Load Screen after unmounting it in Windows?

You can't press the Main Button to return to the Main Screen?

Maybe a faulty CF Card? Have you tried formating the Card with the MPC?

yes it's look like a joke but the only way to de-freeze the mpc it's to take off the usb cable,
and when i plug in it back to the pc ,the mpc connect itself alone (without touching anything except the usb cable).
the cf card is a san disk 2gb,only 8 month older. i formated the cf card and it's still the same sh*t !?
