mpc 1000 & FL studio

if iam using a mpc 1000 & fl studio producer ed.would i still need a key board?

Depends on what you want to do.
You can make the MPC1000 send MIDI out from the pads to the PC, tho the default mapping is strange.

YOU CAN MAKE MELODIES IN FRUITY LOOPS AT THE SAME BPM AS A SEQUENCE YOU HAVE IN YUR MPC,SAVE THAT MELODIE AS A WAVE AND CUT THE SILENCE OUT AT THE BEGINNING,THEN U CAN LOAD THE WAV INTO YOUR MPC AND TRIGGER THE SAMPLE INTO YOUR MPC AND ITLL BE SYNCED UP AS LONG AS THE BPM IS THE SAME
