Pad velocity always 127

Yo!

Just got an MPC 1k and I love it. However... Is there any way to always have the pads always hit maxiumum velocity (ie 127)? 99% of the time I don't need the different sensitivities, I just want the sample to play on max volume.

I tried looking into Mode -> Other, but that only counts for one pad at the time, and it doesn't even output at 127 with sens on the highest.

I hope you get what I'm trying to say. Running the Akai OS.

It's right under your nose. There is a button called FULL LEVEL on the front of the machine

he's joking, obviously. there's no way a machine such as the mpc1000 (not to mention any machine in akai's legendary mpc series) would have a function like that. they simply don't have the processor power

the button right beside it, 16 levels allows you to vary your velocities consistently across the 16 pads.

And guess what comes after the Next Seq and Track Mute buttons? The Manual sitting on the table

Haha. Give me a break guys! I figured out sequencing, song mode, midi sequencing (notes and sync), and just about everything else without the manual!

Being clever is always great, but not an excuse to not go download the manual if you don't have a copy
