Just picked up a new MPC1000 last week, installed a non-Akai 256 mb RAM upgrade and had my first crash, just wondered if it was my machine or a common fault.

If you create a pattern and then go to Step Edit, hold down Shift and the down arrow to select all the steps including '---- End of sequence ----' and press delete (F4) and then move the wheel it crashes everytime with an 'Illegal general instruction exeption'.

I'm not too bothered as if you don't select 'end of sequence' or if you don't move the wheel and simply press Main it is fine - just wondered if anyone else has the same issue?

I am running OS 2.13.

I am thinking it's just a bug in the OS, it hasn't crashed for anything else. The system lets you select '----End of sequence----' and delete it which leaves the cursor three rows down in a blank space so when you roll up with the wheel it crashes.
