Alright, how do I...(mpc1k)

how do i load up a sample from a folder, not all sounds, just one by one, let's say i have a few samples already mapped in the sampler (mpc1000)
and a sequence going, once i click on load, i got my beat folders, if i press (do it) i'tll load the entire folder...

i looked on the manual, no luck, can it be done?

Manual - Pages 79-80

"Press the [MODE] key and the [PAD 2] (LOAD)...
Select the folder field or File field ...
Move through the directory using the left/right cursor keys...
Select a sample file and load it."

It is in the manual. You might want to download the manual as a PDF from the akai site. It is much easier to search through a PDF.

thanks stephen, i can't believe i didn't press the cursor to the left...that ish was killin me man...i'll dload that pdf jumpoff too.
