How to record before the bar?

Hey all you! Know it sounds weird, but how can I record before the actual first bar beginns? My sample starts just a little bit earlier than the first bar starts (there must be a spiecial word for it..), but the mpc doesnt rec anything before the first one. So, what could I do?
Extra cut the sample, and play the start from the sample always in the last bar? That cant be the solution, or is it?

I would put an extra sequence before it and start your sample during that sequence.
One bar would probably do, then you don't have to wait too long for it to start.

Isnt there anything easier? Im looking for a function like recording also already in the pre-counting bar..

Cant believe that they didnt fix that prob, there must be loads of samples pre-starting....

I would do one of 2 things. Either drop the sample on the 1 then program the rest of the beat shifted over or cut the sample, get it to work on bar 1 then take the cutoff part and use it on the end of your loop

if its a loop then just rec as normal but hit the sample on time before the down beat before it goes to overdub.. If its not a loop then use audacity to record it live hit the sample then hit play on the mpc on time and have another track which you can unmute from track mute to loop..

There's nothing to fix other than your workflow. Some useful suggestions here. The one I use is to record one bar with the required early intro and then join this together with the main sequence. The early intro IS you first bar, it's not before your first bar.

That's what I said!

how is that a problem??? the pre count is the PRE COUNT, meaning it counts in before record, if its say a 4 bar loop make the track five bars......
