How do you all save your projects? Do you save all of your projects into the same folder? I notice that the saving functions are not quite the same as they are in my XL. When I save a project, it doesn't save anything like an aps file how the XL does. If anyone can explain this to me in detail, I would greatly appreciate it.

yeah, but I was wondering if it all pulls up correctly when you load the project file if you have several different project files in the same folder. Basically I just want to know how it's saving because my 1000 doesn't seem to be consistent. It will save the .all file included with the project file as the same name as the project, but sometimes it won't. And also, I don't understand how it's saving my mix levels for each sound/pad if it's not saving an aps file like on my XL. Is the .prj file including the mix levels? Or maybe the .all files includes them. I don't know. I'm just trying to figure this out quickly. I thought it would be exactly the same as my XL. I'll figure it out sooner or later. Thanks for your help.

I'm also having issues with consistent load/save of project files. I've got one project with its samples, program, sequences, etc in one folder. When I pull it up and work on some sequences, update some stuff and save the project file again to the same folder WITH the overwrite function active. When I pull it up again, the original stuff comes up without any changes. What gives? Do I have to save an .ALL file aside from the project? I would appreciate any help because I've now lost at least 3 sessions worth of work because of this. I was sober for the last two so I know it wasn't user error.

I resave my programs/samples too. I think all the mixer settings are saved with pgm. files and make sure you specify replace existing files if you made changes that you want to keep.

I've had some odd problems myself - a few times I've saved projects only to find they didn't actually save at all, which is to say the least annoying. If there was an error message I would try a different flash card or directory or something... :x
