hello everybody
I'm new to the MPC and this community here. I own my MPC1000 since about one month. Until now I worked with the newest, original AKAI OS. Meanwhile there raised some questions, where I'm not sure if they are solvable with my current OS or if I have to change to JJOS. I'm sure to find some help here..
1. Is it possible to assign the Q-slider to a group of pad's? I would like to change eg. the tune of several pad's at once.
2. Is it somehow possible to listen to already assigned samples while being in the LOAD dialog and choosing others? I would like to be able to better pick further samples without leaving the LAOD dialog.
3. Is it somehow possible to save CF-card space by having links to samples (which are anyway on the same card) instead of copies in my projects folder? I have a samples and a projects folder on my CF card. Then I load samples from the samples folder and create tracks / seqences / songs. I then save the entire memory in a subfolder of my projects folder. All samples are stored again in this folder instead of physically having links to the samples folder. Probably this is just possible to do on the computer afterwards, but eventually there is a workaround or something.
4. How can I adjust the length of a sample to fit exactly eg. 2 bars? I have somehow difficulties with this...
I am looking forward to some helpful answers.
cheers
