Headphones for the MPC1000?

Hey guys, I don't have enough money for some good studio monitors so I figured going with some decent headphones with be a good alternative (cheaper?). I also like the portability factor.

Can you recommend any good headphones? Is it possible to find a good pair for under $100?

they are about 100 on ebay, and are much better, trust me.

Try not to rely solely on headphones to assess the sound quality of a mix.

You can afford some decent used monitors with that loot.

Everything does not have to be BRAND NEW to be effective, it just needs to work properly.

Monitors first, headphones second.
