is quantizing or bpm syncing possible? can't seem to figure it out. what i'm trying to do is play a sample like a loop and have it fall on beat. any suggestions?

dude, you got 3 options:

1. match the bpm to that of that the sample

2. change the pitch of the sample to match the BPM (higher pitch = faster bpm, lower pitch = lower bpm)

3. get the sample into soundforge/acid and timestretch away...

quanitzing is different, that is shifting midi info so it hits on the beat...

put Timing Correct on.. Timing Correct is quantizing... on Main press F1 then change the note value to the accuracy u want... press record and be a bad drummer.. :P

Remember, if you can't get the beat quite right, you can always slow down the tempo to record - and make life a little easier for yourself. :?
