hi out there!

i like using the note repeat button even on the midi-out channel to trigger my nordlead-synth. but it seems like the mpc is layering the midi-notes and the synth gets overloaded with notes. i have to minimize sustain and release of the synth-patches to stop that, but i'd rather like the mpc to trigger only short notes even in note repeat modus. when i record the midi-notes coming from the 1k in note-repeat-modus in cubase i see a lot of very large midi notes: the note repeat comes as a long trigger not like
a bunch of short 16th (for example).
is there a way to change that behaviour?

Your on the right tip - take the sustain, release down to zero and play with the decay on your nord lead until you get that stutter effect (I used to have a nord lead 2) press play on the MPC and hold a pad and the note repeat down - try turning your Nords arp on and set it to quantize to the midi beat clock - really cool techno effect

thanx people.

i guess the note-poly is the right way to solve this problem, but it doesnt really work... my nl2 does the job but when i trigger my monophon bass sytnh with a note repeat it hangs up: too much at once, even without overlapping notes. strange.
to adonis: yes real nice fight between the mpc and the nl about the mothership of the groove... . i really love to trigger the nl2 with the mpc-pads, sounds better and more punchy than with a keyboard...
peace out
