mpc has no zone screen?

i just got my mpc and ive been reading up on chopping samples and I sen the 2000 has a zone screen to put different parts of a sample in specific zones and chop em up.
but my 1k does not have this.

Is this a correct statement or I didnt read my manual right? Cause I wana chop up the samples but cant do it this way

yea you're right, 1000 dosn't have this feature. Use your computer instead.

~Recycle and Sound Forge is a good program to use but I wish the 1k did have the zonin feature tho!
