MPC 1000 with Reason 5

I have reason 5 and an mpc 1000 with the jj os1 v4.99 installed. i have been watching videos on youtube on how to use reason as a sound module and i am not able to get it working..reason 5 is on my macbook pro, then the midi out is going from my mpk49 to the midi in on the mpc and the mpk49 is connected via usb to the macbook pro..can someone help me out?

so basically you're trying to get your MPK to talk to Reason, and this has nothing to do with the MPC?

because otherwise you've got it wired up wrong (there's nothing going from mpc to macbook)

im also looking for a solution in using my mpc1000 along with my mpk49 to control reason/record. i have the jj os2xl which as we speak im trying to configure the midi cc between the teo.

Using Reason with an MPC has been covered EXTENSIVELY on these forums.

Akai OS or JJ doesn't make much difference to the set-up, its about routing midi correctly from the MPC or keyboard.

Search in the Production Skills section of the forum and look out for 'Stickies'.
