CHOPING A SAMPLE TAKES FOREVER!!! PLEASE HELP!!! THANKS!

Hi, i have looked on this site and couldn't find it anywhere, but if anyone knows why My mpc takes forever to chop a sample please let me know how to fix it.

well why dont you explain what part is taking for ever...

hmmm when i record the sample into the mpc then hit mode, trim find the sample and edge it so its perfect then ill hit Slice and it will ask mode I pick equally 4 regions and hit do it
When i hit do it It take a while for it to finish. WHen i use my other mpc 1000 it fn flys quick in a matter of seconds

is the sample like 10 bars long?

i had dat problem when i use akai 2,12 and 2.13 os..it side effect they said when they put auto chop in.
install akai 2.11 os..but u wont have auto chop or jjos and you will
