I've recently puchased a used MPC1000 from a retailer after having to sell my old one. Its second hand and comes already with the JJos 3.12 and i upgraded the memory to 128. everything works fine and the pads are good as new etc
but.. when i push mode and then pad 15 (the see the complete pad index/blueprint of a sequence and pad bank etc ) nothing appers on screen and it crashes the machine?!! HELP!!

I use this screen regular when fixin or moving pad hits around.

Is this a bug and If download/re install the free JJos program again will this fix it?

also.. whats the best website to download the JJOS programs from?

Thank you

hey Paster of Muppets (cool name) haha

Thanks for that. I'll see if that fixes it.

Everything else is working fine its just thhat function for some reason.

Actually.. there was one other question...
How do you erase the original auto load folder containing and the stock samples the mpc comes with in the internal memory so that both the samples and folder are gone?

okay.. I've re instaled the free JJOS but when i press mode and pad 15 it still comes up as a blank screen???

Its weird... the far right hand side of the screen tells you the pad number and bank etc.. but there's not grid??

Please help!!?

Is it worth reinstall the original Akia OS and then trying to install the JJOS?

you can turn off Autoload (or make it load from the CF card or hard disk instead)

or you can erase them or overwrite them

p96 and p97 in the manual
