timing correction when chopping samples

hi mpc forums fam,
i have a mpc 1000 and i make mostly sample beats but i notice that when i use the timing correct on the sample chops it sounds really choppy and when i use it without i get better results, does any1 have any suggestions.

Welcome. I would try to use time stretch to manually fix the timing issues. May be time cosuming and pain staking but it seems like the most logical solution.

try to add some swing, a good starting point is about 56% give or take.
